Koz
Mike "Koz" Kozlowski plays Fender basses, plays Lee Oscar harmonicas, and sings lead and background vocals. Koz's rockin' bass is the solid foundation for this power trio!
Brian
Brian Johnson is a veteran drummer and a strong lead vocalist who had recently joined this trio in March 2024. Brian is a perfect addition to our band as a powerhouse rock n roll drummer and singer!
The KICKS! An American Band was formed in 2017 by veteran rockers RayDog and Koz who wanted to perform some of their favorite higher-energy music for special events, park events, showcase rooms, concerts, and dance clubs in the greater Northern Nevada and California venues. The band's name comes from a combination of the songs "Kicks" by Paul Revere and the Raiders and "We're an American Band" by Grand Funk Railroad. These songs represent the tip of the iceberg of the classic rock-n-roll and funky blues songs spanning four decades covered by this power rock trio. KICKS! also performs a handful of original compositions by RayDog that fit nicely into their repertoire.
